Copper products not only are long-lasting but they also offer very original and application possibilities. KME produces laminates in natural and pre-oxidized copper of refined and application finishings in architecture, for roofings and facade claddings of high-aesthetic content.
The most common typologies are:
TECU® Classic, at the beginning the material presents a shiny red aspect of natural laminated copper. As the years go by, it takes brownish colourings up to the green characteristic patina around the more inclined areas which gives the material a natural protection aimed at lasting for many years.
TECU® Oxid, sheets and strips are pre-oxidized on both sides with a patented industrial process which is gentle on the material accelerating the achievement of the typical brown color. The time will complete the oxidation work making the product unique.
TECU® Patina, copper-coated ready for use can satisfy the highest aesthetic demands in buildings design. Coated on one side only with industrial process that helps the growth of the characteristic “green” oxide of copper by making this material full of tones and chromatic shades just like natural copper when long-exposed to time effect.
TECU® Zinn, copper strips are tinned on purpose and surface-treated on both sides. High longevity material and agreeable gray opaque aspect that matches nicely with many other building materials. Long-lasting and very elegant in its gray metal tone, atypical of copper.
TECU® Gold, is an alloy of copper and aluminium which has the characteristic of becoming opaque rapidly after the installation in a facade developing a “hot” surface which resembles gold. Distinctive and unique quality. There are no significant color variations.
TECU® Brass, lbrass is one of the materials of copper family. It is proposed in a new version, created from a special copper-zinc melting. As a unique and very personal feature, which due to weather conditions exposure, it assumes changing colors from red and gold to green and brown and finally to deep brown.
TECU® Bronze, bronze is a noble alloy of copper and tin, which now can also be applied to the front by providing each new application elegance and design. It has a slower oxidation than natural copper but once it takes place, it evolves in unique mixtures from brown to gray up to dark brown, typical of this product.
